All religions and traditions celebrate light, inscribed in the heart of the night, when the day is at its shortest. It’s a way of invoking the forces of life and the conviction that darkness cannot prevail. I explore the luminous aspect of creation, using a visual language that is organic and constantly changing. My palette is often inspired by undergrowth, but after working with glass, I’m opening up to transparency. Above all, I play with light, letting it pass through, diffracting it. Vibrations of particles, gentle energies, this gaze is transformed on paper into joyful explosions of pastel tones, a nod to Hilma Ef Klint’s palette, lightly underlined by almost imperceptible signs.
